FAQ

Who do you accept as new patients?

I accept all female patients! Male patients are accepted by referral only. Spouses of existing patients are always welcome! I also work with Children, teens & babies!!!

Do I have to be pregnant or postpartum to book with you?

Absolutely not!!! I've taken additional schooling certifying me in Prenatal & Postpartum modalities but this is not all I do.  You could say Prenatal Massage is  what I'm most passionate about within my field of expertise!

Is massage safe during any stage of pregnancy?

Absolutely! At Hands in Harmony this happens to be our specialty!  However, there are some circumstances where massage is not safe or may need clearance from your doctor. If you have any question or doubts talk to your doctor before booking.

What should I wear during treatment?

This is totally determined by your comfort level! It's important to know that you will be covered during your entire treatment. At no time will any private areas be exposed.  For best results, most therapists prefer that all clothing on the upper body be removed and only your undergarments be left on the lower half.  That being said it's your treatment! Your comfort is the most important thing. If you do plan on wearing clothing for your treatment please wear form fitted clothing and smooth fabrics. Bulky fabric can disrupt the flow, depth and ability of the therapist to access the tissue.

Do you do mobile massage?

This service will be coming soon! It will only be available to expecting mama's and their partners, as well as new parents! Please check back in or sign up for the email list on the homepage to be alerted when this becomes available!

Why is proper equipment important in treating pregnant and postpartum clients?
